Welcome to Oak Lodge...

an 800 acre private estate nestled in the Laurel Mountains of Western Pennsylvania. This serene retreat has provided a quiet place for friends and family to relax and enjoy the simple solitude found in nature for the past 22 years.

We purchased the main lodge and the poolhouse in 1996. Over the past 11 years we've expanded the property to include a working farm and added several other rustic buildings to create a faux town we call Jimberg.

With over 40 miles of scenic wooded trails at Oak Lodge, many of our friends have enjoyed the opportunity to see a beaver building his dam, a deer and her fawns frolicking in one of the meadows, a black bear family endulging in an afternoon snack, or sat quietly observing the many species of wild birds from our front deck.

Oak Lodge is conveniently located within 20 miles of Seven Springs Resort, Hidden Valley Resort and Ohio Pyle. It is also within five miles of historic Ligonier, where our guests can enjoy shopping on the diamond, a tour of Fort Ligonier, or take their family to Idlewild Park for some summer fun!

The Future of Oak Lodge...

Oak Lodge has been a great escape for many over the past 22 years. Our greatest joy comes from sharing it with others. We are working with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry so that we can change our status from residential to commercial. This will enable us to share our property with the public.This process takes much more time then we have anticipated, but we continue to move forward as many steps as we are permitted and we hope to be able to have our log chapel available for events in the Summer of 2009.

We encourage you to come for a tour of Oak Lodge so you can see for yourself the unique presence of nature.
Our operating hours are: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm or by appointment only.
