Plus, when you purchase your ticket, you’ll receive a complimentary souvenir tasting glass!
The Frosty Mugs of Thunder Brewfest is an annual fundraiser for the Historical & Genealogical Society of Somerset County. You’ll find a large collection of genealogy in books, records, and significant figures in Somerset history. If you want to look up your family name, you may be surprised what you discover!
Somerset Historical Center preserves and teaches the history of rural Pennsylvania through wonderful exhibits, enthralling events, and restored landmarks. The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission manages this heritage museum.
As you walk around this beautiful property, the thrilling past of Pennsylvania comes to life in the replica Farmstead homes from the 1770s and 1830s and in the Exhibit Halls. You’ll discover the rich flavors of history when you meander through the Cider Press and Sugar Camp. Make your way to the Walter’s Mill Covered Bridge and see its red facade standing out from the green forest. Once you finish exploring the property, you’ll come back to the Visitors Center for a great end to your exploring and the sight of the Frosty Mugs of Thunder Brewfest.
Every year during the festival, each guest can sample 15 beers from outstanding breweries in Pennsylvania. As you walk from tent to tent, try some delicious brews from refreshing pale ales to tasty IPAs to rich porters. The Frosty Mugs of Thunder Brewfest showcased four remarkable breweries last year. These included Whitehorse Brewing, Four Seasons Brewing Company & Pub, Coal Country Brewing, and Full Pint Brewing Co.
