Spend the Evening Listening to the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra
What Is the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra?
The Laurel Highlands aren’t just about gorgeous landscapes and amazing outdoor activities. Our beautiful region in Pennsylvania also offers top-notch entertainment, if you know where to find it. The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra is one of the best in the region. We love to recommend it to our guests for a night out or even a romantic activity. It’s located in the illustrious Palace Theater in Greensburg, PA, only 35 minutes away from Oak Lodge. Street parking is available, but you can also park for free on East Ottoman St.
What does the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra play? Lots of magical performances. If you love classical music, then there’s really no better place to be. You can marvel at ballets like the Nutcracker, watch an opera, or attend a whimsical concert. Let the soothing sound of violins, cellos, and flutes serenade you, and feel the intensity of the music as the trumpets and horns resonate through your body. It’s always a magical experience, and we have a feeling you’re going to love it.
Make a whole night out of it and grab dinner before the performance! The venue is close to a handful of great restaurants. J. Corks, for example, offers delicious modern-American cuisine made with fresh and regional products. The Headkeeper is a bit more intimate and eclectic and serves tavern-type food with local beer. Last but not least is The Rialto. It’s a fun, laid-back place that serves divine pizzas and other Italian entrees.
