3 Things You Need to Know Before Hiking the Wolf Rocks Trail
What Are the Trail Features?
Before you venture into the woods, it’s good to do some preparation and get to know the trail. After all, you need to know what to expect. Wolf Rocks Trail is a loop that features some rooty and craggy terrain. Its level of difficulty is not too high, so don’t be afraid to bring some of your less experienced friends. The trail’s elevation change of 255 feet leads to marvelous views of the countryside. All you need to do is relax, follow the marked path, and enjoy a serene hike through the woods and long tunnels of rhododendrons.
Tip: We recommend starting the trail counterclockwise to knock down the harder section first!
How Long Do You Need to Complete the Hike?
Wolf Rocks Trail is 4.3 miles long and is one of the best easy hikes in the Laurel Highlands. We know that hiking times vary from one hiker to another, but generally speaking, it should take you three hours to complete.
